Dean Carpenter

After graduating from Limestone College with a BS in Business Administration, Dean entered the insurance field in 1987 with Life of Virginia. He worked out of Charlotte and the Gastonia areas focusing on Group Benefits, Life Insurance and Disability.

In 1992 he started Carpenter Group Inc. dba CGI Benefits to focus primarily on the Group Benefits market.

A longtime resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, Dean is active in the community. He is a member of the Charlotte Life and Health chapters for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).  

Rhonda Simmons

Licensed Health and Life Insurance Agent
Account Manager

Rhonda moved to Charlotte from Atlanta, GA in 1998. She has worked with major insurance companies over the past 17 years. Prior to joining CGI Benefits, she worked as an inside Account Representative with The Hartford, managing implementation, ongoing service and administration for a large portfolio of business clients. In 2010, Rhonda joined CGI Benefits as an Account Manager where she works with companies of all sizes and individuals on their health insurance needs.
